You may have noticed that I haven’t been posting much during the last two months of 2010. The principal reason (apart from holiday craziness) has been the development of the next stage in my HCM journey. After spending the last part of 2009 and all of 2010 as an independent consultant working on a project basis for HRchitect, on January 1 I became their VP of HCM Systems Strategy. You can read HRchitect’s January 11 press release announcing the appointment here.
In addition to running and growing the HCM Systems Strategy practice, part of my new responsibilities will involve contributing content to build on HRchitect’s research and thought leadership on a regular basis. To that end, I will be putting HCM Tech Vista into “suspended animation.” Instead, I will become a regular contributor to HRchitect’s “The Puzzing World of HR Technology” blog and be involved in a number of other educational events, such as the newly launched “HCM Market Minute,” a fast-paced perspective on mergers, acquisitions and other major happenings in the HCM marketplace.
I’m looking forward to working with the top-notch executive team of HRchitect to meet the needs of clients looking to update (or perhaps create for the first time) and execute their HCM Systems Strategies. With three major HCM marketplace events already logged during the first eleven days of 2011, the year promises to be very interesting indeed!
As always, your questions and comments are welcome.
